About the Event
IWIRE North Texas and LCRE need your help collecting the household items needed to assemble 40 Moving Baskets for the clients at The Family Place!
Why are these Moving Baskets so important?
The Family Place clients often come to the shelter and supported living programs with nothing. These Moving Baskets, made up of the basic necessities needed when moving into a new home, ensure an easier transition for the women and children exiting a challenging situation.
There are two ways you can support our goal of donating 40 moving baskets to The Family Place:
1. Purchase items from the Wishlist we've created here!
2. Join us on Thursday, March 23rd at Community Beer Co. to assemble the moving baskets for delivery to The Family Place, followed by a happy hour! Register below!
Please note that volunteer spots are limited so register only if you plan to attend!
